Description

You will join SpaceX's Starlink Aviation team to perform precision inspections of machined aerospace parts, ensuring they meet design requirements. You'll use CMM programming and GD&T to verify quality, document non-conformances, and collaborate with production to improve products and reduce defects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years quality inspection experience in a machine shop
• 1+ years blueprint reading, shop math, and GD&T
• DCC CMM with PC-DMIS software experience
• Able to lift 25lbs and perform repetitive movement

Responsibilities

• Complete surface plate work/inspection of machined aerospace parts
• Inspect supplied product per drawing and work order specifications
• Perform in-process and dimensional inspection of precision machined parts
• Document non-conformances and support quality management systems
• Create, maintain, and verify CMM programs using PC-DMIS software
