💼 About This Role

You'll gain hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians in a fast-paced ER environment. You'll assist with triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care while receiving real-time mentoring from top professionals. This unpaid externship offers flexibility in length and location.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Pair with a credentialed emergency veterinary technician for real-time mentoring.
• Shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, and anesthesia.
• Practice skills required by your school's proficiency checklist.
• Experience the teamwork and pace of emergency care.

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program.
• Enrolled in a course that requires externship hours or skills.
• Able to start the program within 6 months of application.
• Current rabies vaccination or titer required.
