You will lead the advancement of our platform's translation capabilities, leveraging machine learning to develop and optimize high-performance translation features. Your work will directly power critical features for global enterprises, turning knowledge into scalable action across languages.

Requirements

• Expertise in evaluation engineering, including benchmark design and slice analysis
• Data fluency: end-to-end dataset pipeline ownership with versioning and auditability
• Strong foundations in classical NLP: text normalization, matching approaches
• Operate external LLM providers end-to-end with structured generation and synthetic data scaling
• Practical production engineering skills: write lightweight services with monitoring and reliability basics

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve benchmarks for translation problems
• Work with NER, word alignment, and automatic translation quality scoring systems
• Set up infrastructure for self-hosted solutions
• Build offline and online metrics, run A/B tests and staged rollouts
• Own end-to-end dataset pipelines: multi-source ingestion, cleaning, validation, and versioning
