💼 About This Role

You'll own the layout-to-netlist and multi-physics integration flow for silicon photonic quantum computer development. Core impact: ensuring schematic, layout, and extracted models remain consistent and simulation-ready for reliable photonic IC tape-outs. This role sits at the intersection of photonic circuit design, CAD infrastructure, and EM modeling.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Define and maintain photonic netlist methodology.
  • Develop and maintain photonic and electronic LVS flows.
  • Generate simulation-ready netlists for circuit/system tools.
  • Build CI/CD automation pipelines connecting layout tools, EM solvers, circuit simulators.

📋 Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
  • 6+ years experience in photonic IC design, analog/mixed-signal CAD/EDA, or custom IC flow automation.
  • Strong Python scripting skills.
  • Experience with layout tools (KLayout, Cadence Virtuoso), EM solvers (Lumerical FDTD/MODE, HFSS, CST, Tidy3D), circuit simulators (SPICE, INTERCONNECT, Caphe, PhotonForge).

✨ Nice to Have

  • Proven track record of impactful results.
  • Demonstrated interest in quantum computing.
  • Ability to lead and juggle multiple priorities.

🎁 Benefits & Perks
