You will build observability tools and platforms, including metrics, logging, distributed tracing, dashboarding, alerting, and application performance management using modern tools like Go, Open Telemetry, and Kubernetes. You'll also participate in on-call rotation, create runtime tools for cloud triaging, and define best practices for measurable systems.

• 5+ years industry experience building and maintaining high-quality software

Responsibilities

• Build observability tools and platforms (metrics, logging, distributed tracing, dashboarding, alerting, APM)
• Participate in on-call rotation and ensure uptime of services
• Create runtime tools/processes to optimize cloud triaging and limit downtime
• Define best practices for making systems and services measurable
• Collaborate on design and code reviews to ensure best practices
