Description
You'll work directly with participants, employers, and community partners in direct service roles like Job Developer, Job Coach, or Site Supervisor to help individuals coming out of incarceration gain meaningful employment. Your work will build skills, confidence, and stability for participants while reducing recidivism and strengthening communities.
Requirements
- Deep dedication to equity and social justice, ideally with experience in re-entry, workforce development, or human services
- Passion for personal transformation with ability to balance accountability and empathy
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences
- Diligent documentation skills recognizing the advocacy value of accurate data
- Resilient problem-solving mindset with focus on end goals despite challenges
Responsibilities
- Connect participant interests and experiences to real-world job opportunities
- Guide individuals toward long-term workforce success
- Cultivate relationships with participants, employers, and community partners
- Document case notes accurately to track progress and ensure continuity of care
- Anticipate and overcome obstacles to achieve placement goals
