💼 About This Role

You'll be the senior individual contributor responsible for cloud and application security at Pacvue, working closely with Engineering and DevOps. Your core impact is implementing security best practices and improving system resilience across AWS environments. This role stands out for its cross-functional collaboration and direct influence on security posture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement and maintain AWS security configurations across environments
• Apply IAM best practices including least-privilege and role-based access
• Configure and monitor AWS-native security services
• Operate SAST, DAST, and SCA tools in CI/CD pipelines

📋 Requirements

• 5–8+ years in security engineering or cloud security
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS security in production
• Experience with IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config, CloudTrail
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Understanding of vulnerability management practices
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks
