💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical revenue accounting for complex commercial arrangements at OpenAI, ensuring accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606. You'll partner cross-functionally to scale processes and support new product launches. This role offers the chance to shape accounting policies at a leading AI company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review customer arrangements for revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Develop and document technical accounting conclusions.
• Partner with Deal Desk, Legal, and GTM on deal structures.
• Improve scalable revenue accounting processes and controls.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in revenue accounting or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and complex arrangements.
• CPA required (inactive status acceptable).
• Experience with Zuora Revenue or similar revenue systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Big 4 advisory experience (ARA, FAAS, CMAAS).
• Experience in SaaS, AI, or cloud industries.
• Track record of building scalable processes.
