💼 About This Role

You'll support Mistral AI's external growth by structuring, drafting, and negotiating M&A transactions globally. You'll work directly under the Head of M&A and Finance Legal Counsel in Paris, collaborating with Business and Finance teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape M&A strategy at the frontier of AI innovation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate M&A transaction documentation including SPAs and shareholders' agreements.
• Lead legal due diligence across corporate, IP, employment, and regulatory workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-border transactions with local external counsel.
• Build internal M&A templates, practices, and guidelines.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of legal experience with at least 4 in an international law firm.
• Hands-on M&A transaction experience from due diligence through closing.
• Bachelor's degree (LLB, LLM, or Juris Doctor) from an EU accredited law school.
• Fluency in English and French with strong communication skills.
