💼 About This Role

You'll own aspects of operational accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, and treasury for a fast-growing SMB fintech. You'll partner with engineering to automate reporting pipelines and drive process improvement through AI-powered tools. This role offers exposure to lending, credit card, and deposit products at a well-funded startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage projects to improve accounting processes and automate journal entries
• Develop, document, and execute key policy documents and internal controls
• Own parts of the month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting packages

📋 Requirements

• US GAAP knowledge, especially for lending/tech companies
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-powered tools for efficient solutions
• Proven business analysis skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

✨ Nice to Have

• Internship in accounting or fintech/startup environment
• Experience with NetSuite or similar enterprise ERP
• Technical skills like querying data or scripting
