You'll own the AI foundation that determines how generative AI shows up across mental healthcare. You'll design durable, production-grade systems for patient engagement and provider workflows at scale, operating at the intersection of architecture, applied research, and clinical constraints. This role sets the standard for technical excellence and safety in a regulated environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect core platform primitives like RAG and agentic loops
• Design production-grade AI systems for patient engagement and provider workflows
• Set technical standards for safety and excellence in a regulated environment
• Act as a technical multiplier across AI engineering teams

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years designing and scaling distributed systems
• 5+ years deep experience in Python and one other backend language
• 2+ years building AI-powered products with foundation models like OpenAI or Anthropic

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience architecting secure, compliant AI solutions in regulated environments (HIPAA, GDPR)
• Familiarity with human-in-the-loop systems and clinical decision support frameworks
• Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or applied research in GenAI safety
