You'll lead training and mentorship for veterinary nurses in a fast-paced ER environment, helping them build confidence and skills. Your work directly impacts team growth and patient care quality at a rapidly expanding emergency hospital network. This role combines on-the-floor coaching with strategic program development.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Partner with leadership to identify training needs
- Assess assistants and technicians through direct observation
- Drive advancement through VEG's Cultivate program
- Implement training programs and serve as lead trainer
๐ Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT)
- High level of knowledge in emergency medicine
- Willingness to travel to other hospitals in region
โจ Nice to Have
- Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology
- VTS in ECC, internal medicine, or anesthesia/analgesia
- Previous training experience
