Description

You will lead Site Reliability Engineering at Affirm, owning reliability, availability, and operational excellence across the global platform. You'll build best-in-class reliability practices, partner with cross-functional leaders, and hire and grow a diverse team of SREs and engineers.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in software and site reliability engineering
• Experience leading SRE, systems engineering, and full stack engineering teams
• Track record driving key outcomes that drive company success
• Comfortable partnering across disciplines and influencing leaders
• World-class communicator with excellent instincts for empathetic messaging

Responsibilities

• Set vision and drive execution for Reliability Engineering
• Own high availability of core services to meet service level standards
• Iterate and maintain global incident response lifecycle program
• Perform continual risk management across the entire system
• Hire and build a global team of SREs, system engineers, and full stack engineers
