Description

You will architect Aiven's internal operating system for people operations, leading a global team to build scalable, AI-driven systems that support the employee lifecycle across 17+ countries. Your mission is to engineer efficiency, own workforce data compliance, and bridge operational interfaces between People, Finance, and IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition from manual tasks to automated internal systems, using AI agents where possible.
• Own the workforce lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding, translating policies into scalable processes.
• Ensure workforce data compliance (GDPR, SOC2) and provide data-informed insights to executive team.
• Oversee operational delivery for Payroll and Global Rewards, ensuring data accuracy globally.
• Manage the People tech stack (HiBob) as product owner, ensuring clean handoffs between departments.
• Own strategic and operational relationships with global HR technology and compliance vendors.
• Lead a global team of 5–7 specialists, fostering high performance and mentorship.
