Description

You will own technical and operational requirements for Clear Street's Canadian self-clearing business, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and business stakeholders to drive automation, risk mitigation, and scalable solutions. Initially focused on documenting needs and building reconciliations, the role expands to support new asset classes and regulatory changes over time.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in financial or technology industries in operations, product, data, or engineering
• Prior experience at a Canadian broker-dealer or major Canadian financial institution
• Direct CDS/CDSX experience required
• Advanced data analysis skills including SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Sigma Computing)

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Dev Ops contact for Canadian operations needs, partnering with stakeholders
• Lead issue escalation including root cause analysis, impact assessment, and coordination
• Design, build, and maintain reconciliations across custody and settlement processes
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints
• Monitor operational health metrics, proactively identifying risks and control gaps
