Description

You will guide customers and users to design and build reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform. Working closely with sales executives, you'll solve business problems by leveraging MongoDB solutions, playing a key role in winning deals and driving the business forward. You'll be a trusted advisor to startups and the world's largest enterprise IT organizations.

Requirements

• 8-11 years related experience in a customer-facing role, with 5-7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software
• Minimum 3 years with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) or programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#)
• Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem
• Demonstrated ability to work with customers to review complex architecture and provide improvement guidance
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to convey complex technical and business concepts

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, clearly communicating business value
• Collaborate with sales team to drive account success through planning, prioritization, and pipeline generation
• Proactively generate demand through technical initiatives, trade shows, and account-based marketing events
• Foster strong customer relationships and ensure customer success and satisfaction
