💼 About This Role

You'll ensure safety and compliance of manufacturing and R&D equipment at a fusion power company. You'll create the equipment safety sign-off process and support manufacturing process design.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct Risk Assessments per ISO 12100 and ANSI B11 standards
• Create and stand up equipment safety sign-off process
• Partner with teams to review and approve equipment designs
• Manage regulatory compliance including CE marking and UL/NRTL certification

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Safety Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in equipment safety or machine design
• Deep understanding of ISO 12100, ANSI B11, and OSHA 1910
• Experience with control system safety integration and functional safety

✨ Nice to Have

• CSP, CMSE®, TÜV Functional Safety Engineer certification
• Familiarity with CE, UL, NRTL certification processes
