Description

You will drive architectural vision and strategy to deliver powerful enterprise functionality for SaaS customers, working on Auth0's identity platform. You'll lead major technical projects, mentor engineers, and build scalable, reliable distributed systems using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Solid architectural and security knowledge, experience designing and evolving complex distributed systems
• Experience collaborating with external teams to ship successful products
• Strong mentoring and communication skills
• Solid experience with Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) and building scalable backend services and APIs
• Experience building frontend apps (SPAs, React, CSS)

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural vision and strategy to design and deliver enterprise functionality for SaaS customers
• Identify and implement strategic technical improvements to codebase and architecture
• Orchestrate and lead major technical projects across teams
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on engineering practices and technical leadership
• Serve as subject matter expert on building scalable, reliable distributed systems
