Description

You will lead the design and evolution of PubMatic's high-frequency, large-scale AdTech platform. You'll own complex software systems end-to-end, shape technical direction, and work at the intersection of extreme scale and Generative AI innovation.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of core software engineering experience
• Expert Java backend skills (Java 11+, Spring/Spring Boot, REST)
• Hands-on AI/GenAI experience (RAG, agentic workflows, model integrations)
• Expertise in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• DevOps mindset with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, monitoring (ELK, Prometheus/Grafana)

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural vision for scalable, high-performance systems
• Create and present independent design reviews
• Propose and integrate Generative AI for ad delivery and system efficiency
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch
• Design efficient data models and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL queries at massive scale
