💼 About This Role

You'll lead network infrastructure for Talkdesk's SRE Connectivity team, combining hands-on technical leadership with people management. You'll drive automation and reliability across a multi-region, multi-cloud infrastructure. This role offers the chance to shape a blameless, learning-focused culture while working at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain core network infrastructure and tooling
• Contribute code, infrastructure changes, and code reviews
• Drive automation-first practices across network operations
• Ensure reliability through observability and monitoring
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

📋 Requirements

• AWS networking hands-on experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS Direct Connect
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls and security products
• Experience with NetBox or similar network source-of-truth
• Solid Linux/Unix systems knowledge

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Consul, Vault, Jenkins, Prometheus
• Encryption and key management technologies (ACM, KMS)
• Previous technical lead or manager experience while remaining hands-on
