Description

As a Staff Engineer on our Credit Card platform team, you will serve as a technical anchor, driving the long-term architecture and strategy of a globally scaling system. You'll partner with Product and Business leadership to shape the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and solve complex challenges to enable millions of customers worldwide to access financial products via credit cards.

Requirements

• Principal/Staff Engineer level experience scaling mission-critical systems in fintech
• Expert proficiency in functional programming (Clojure, Scala, Haskell) and reactive architectures
• Proven ability to lead long-term technical strategy for platform ecosystems
• Experience navigating regulated financial environments (BACEN, FCA, SOX)
• History of leading large-scale platform transformations

Responsibilities

• Define long-term vision and strategy for global credit card platform architecture
• Lead strategic partnership with Product and Business leadership
• Act as technical and cultural reference, mentoring engineers
• Lead and resolve high-risk technical challenges
