You will build and lead the talent engine to power Aiven's next stage of growth, treating Talent Acquisition as a proactive commercial function. You'll focus on hiring engineers and technical experts for distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and open-source, while owning talent marketing, employer brand, operations, analytics, and tooling. Your work directly shapes the stability, innovation, and roadmap of the platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience scaling global talent functions in high-growth, product-driven environments.
• Strong judgment and courage to challenge senior leaders on the talent bar.
• AI fluency: built TA functions leveraging AI and automation.
• Programmatic execution with clean, scalable, efficient processes.
• Strategic influence and ability to align stakeholders around priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a TA function that drives efficiency and quality.
• Think beyond recruitment toward best practice marketing, AI, automation, and enablement.
• Work with business leaders to build a roadmap for timely talent acquisition.
• Coach and educate to raise the talent bar with every hire.
• Partner with the People team on full talent lifecycle initiatives.
