You'll design fault-tolerant real-time computing systems for the Nyx orbital vehicle, working on radiation-hardened avionics. Your work ensures reliable spacecraft operation in extreme environments, building on expertise from NASA/JPL and SpaceX veterans.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design real-time embedded computing systems for spacecraft avionics
• Develop RTOS/Linux kernel, bootloader, and device drivers
• Perform hardware design including schematic capture and PCB layout
• Implement fault-tolerant computing techniques for radiation resilience

📋 Requirements

• C/C++ and Python proficiency for embedded development
• Real-time systems and Linux embedded computing experience
• Fault-tolerant computing methods (redundancy, checkpoint/restart)
• TSN and PTP experience in mission-critical environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro hardware design skills
• Multi-gigabit SERDES interfaces (SGMII, PCI Express, Serial RapidIO)
• Radiation testing (heavy-ion, proton, or TID) experience
