You'll drive the system architecture for complex electro-mechanical products, translating requirements into mechanical, electrical, and firmware splits. You'll own selection and qualification of critical components like motors and sensors, and build prototypes from wrench to firmware. This role offers hands-on ownership from blank page to production.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Drive system architecture and split requirements across mechanical, electrical, firmware
• Select and qualify critical parts like motors, sensors, and power supplies
• Handle light CAD (MCAD for brackets, ECAD for embedded platforms)
• Build prototypes and bring up integrated systems
• Write drivers for peripherals and land in firmware/application stack

📋 Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience with electro-mechanical or robotics products from concept to working hardware
• Breadth of knowledge in mechanical design, electronics, and embedded code
• Comfortable in MCAD and ECAD to produce simple designs independently
• A tinkerer who chases ambiguity in hardware until understanding system behavior
