💼 About This Role

You'll be a key hands-on contributor building and maintaining industrial robotics automation systems at Intrinsic, an AI robotics group at Google. Your work will directly enable the 'Factory of the Future' project by executing mechanical and electrical assemblies, troubleshooting automation cells, and ensuring smooth lab operations. This role offers a unique blend of R&D and operational impact in a cutting-edge robotics lab.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels and robotic peripherals.
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshoot automation cells.
• Manage daily lab maintenance and inventory logistics.
• Execute mechanical and electrical assemblies for R&D workcells.

📋 Requirements

• Associate degree or 3 years professional experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and debugging.
• Experience installing common industrial robot arms (KUKA, FANUC, ABB, UR).
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with PLC programming (Beckhoff, PILZ) and motion controllers.
• Professional experience with 3D printing, prototyping, and machining.
• Experience with CAD software for reviewing mechanical/electrical designs.
