Description

You will own the container-based application lifecycle, bi-weekly releases, and CI/CD pipelines for the Global Monitoring Service (GMS) App Team. You'll manage deployments on customer-isolated Kubernetes clusters, ensure high availability and performance through proactive monitoring and on-call rotation, and partner with infrastructure teams to meet operational and performance needs.

Requirements

• 6+ years software engineering experience with focus on infrastructure/DevOps
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and stateful applications, persistent storage, node pool isolation
• Experience owning and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure via Makefiles and manifests
• Practical knowledge of secrets management and security best practices in cloud-native environment

Responsibilities

• Own container-based application lifecycle, bi-weekly releases, and CI/CD pipelines for GMS
• Manage deployments on customer-isolated Kubernetes clusters with stateful apps, persistent storage, and IaC
• Ensure high availability and performance via proactive monitoring and alert response, including 24x7 on-call rotation
• Rapidly debug and resolve complex issues from customers or monitoring
• Manage terraform deployments for data pipelines
