💼 About This Role

You'll join our London team to build and scale seamless, high-performance features across the entire stack, ensuring a world-class experience for customers, partners, and riders. You'll drive technical execution on high-traffic workloads (20krpm+) and influence the roadmap. Partner with cross-functional teams to plan projects and mitigate risks.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and scale backend services and frontend components
• Lead architectural improvements and code reviews
• Partner with PMs and Experience Designers to plan projects
• Mentor colleagues and participate in engineering hiring

📋 Requirements

• Significant experience building web-based applications in a modern stack
• Proven ability to design web architecture at scale with high request volumes
• Strong ownership of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with NoSQL backends such as Redis or DynamoDB

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Go, Ruby, Python, or Scala
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch
