💼 About This Role

You'll join WorkOS to optimize how our engineering team produces code and collaborates. You'll bridge infrastructure, product, and leadership to ensure tools and systems mature alongside our product. This role offers the chance to shape the developer experience for a company powering enterprise features for top AI companies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct internal research to understand how each engineer works.
• Build cross-functional trust by listening and understanding teammates.
• Synthesize needs into a cohesive strategy for leadership.
• Procure appropriate tools and environments for teammates.
• Improve internal tooling across the company.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years experience in software development
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility
• Experience rolling out team-wide process/tooling changes
• Understanding of developer tool chains (IDEs, text editors, compilers, etc.)
• Ability to identify tradeoffs and needs as companies scale

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Postgres
• Experience writing documentation including technical guides and coding standards
