Description

You will drive large-scale improvements to the development experience across the JetBrains Cloud Platform, focusing on build systems, CI/CD pipelines, local development workflows, and AI pipelines. Your goal is to make engineers faster and more productive by eliminating bottlenecks and establishing best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with build systems (Gradle, Maven, or Bazel) and a track record of optimizing them at scale
• Strong expertise in CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized development workflows
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle and developer productivity
• Ability to drive cross-team initiatives and influence engineering practices across a large organization

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the strategy for developer experience improvements across the JCP platform
• Optimize build systems (Gradle, Nx) for faster builds and reliable reproducibility at scale
• Set up AI development pipelines managing context, agents, and handoffs
• Improve CI/CD pipelines to reduce build times, increase reliability, and shorten feedback loops
• Establish best practices, tooling standards, and shared infrastructure to enable faster development
