💼 About This Role

You'll design, develop, test, and deploy hardware for quantum control systems in Rigetti's quantum computer. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cutting-edge low-noise mixed-signal board designs. This role offers the chance to lead technical excellence in a fast-paced startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate with internal and external team members to generate system requirements
• Capture circuit board schematic and layout for designs with digital, analog, and RF components
• Create and execute test plans using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs
• Take designs from conception through full design cycle including manufacturing and test

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering
• BS or MS degree in EE or equivalent
• Ability to operate standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs)
• Demonstrated success taking designs from conception through manufacturing and test

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with analog design and simulation (SPICE or equivalent)
• Knowledge of signal processing concepts: Nyquist zones, convolution, cross-correlation
• Exposure to Verilog/VHDL and FPGA development
