Description

You will design and build software tools, automation, and infrastructure for Hootsuite's cloud-based Linux platform, ensuring reliability, security, and developer efficiency. You'll collaborate with a focused team to deliver quarterly goals, mentor peers, and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or software engineering
• Experience with mentoring and pairing with coworkers
• Experience writing clean code that performs well at scale
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and cloud infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design and build software tools, libraries, automation, services, and scripts
• Ensure reliability, security, and integrity of large cloud-based Linux infrastructure
• Lead project milestones, epics, or features
• Develop processes and automation to eliminate repetitive tasks
• Operate developer experience and production application environments
