💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the first responder for individuals arriving at GLIDE, connecting them to resources and support. You'll ensure a safe environment through monitoring and de-escalation. This role combines safety and security with compassionate community support in a social justice setting.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Direct visitors, staff, and clients to their destinations
• Conduct hourly safety rounds and report hazards
• De-escalate disruptive persons using crisis prevention techniques
• Perform janitorial services to maintain cleanliness

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• CPR/First Aid certification within 3 months
• Crisis prevention certification within 3 months
• Experience in community-based social service agency

✨ Nice to Have

• Guard card or security certification
• Experience with databases
• Dept. of Justice clearance (for FYCC assignment)
