💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and operate the platform and backend systems powering Rubrik's internal AI enablement engine. You'll own Kubernetes infrastructure, distributed services, and cloud-native systems while collaborating with product, AI, and security teams. This role offers high autonomy and impact at the intersection of applied AI and enterprise operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of major platform initiatives.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, networking, operators, and multi-tenant orchestration.
• Design and optimize distributed services and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
• Drive engineering excellence through code quality, automation, and CI/CD practices.

📋 Requirements

• 9+ years of software engineering with deep backend and infrastructure focus.
• Strong programming in Python and/or Go.
• Deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience building and operating clusters.
• Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.

✨ Nice to Have

• Observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• Multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, on-prem).
• Familiarity with API gateways, AI gateways, and policy/authorization frameworks.
