As a Territory Account Executive at Square, you will own your market by spending 80% of your week in the field, engaging local businesses, and driving full-cycle sales from lead generation to closing. You'll build deep relationships with sellers, establish yourself as the local Square expert, and work with partners to create a high-velocity pipeline in key verticals like restaurants, retail, and services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years full cycle closing sales experience with field sales
  • Proven track record exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
  • Experience in business development (hunting and cold calling)
  • Reliable transportation and reside in market being served

Responsibilities

  • Spend ~80% of week in field, driving 50-60 targeted business visits weekly
  • Run full-cycle self-sourced sales: generate leads, demo, close across Square's product suite
  • Build trust-based relationships with local sellers and deliver seamless onboarding
  • Develop pipeline through door-to-door outreach, events, networking, and partnerships
  • Maintain strict operational rigor in Salesforce: track activity, manage pipeline, forecast accurately
