Description

You will support new space hardware programs from concept through launch as a dedicated structural analyst. You will quantify load cases, perform stress analysis using first principles and computational models, and collaborate with engineering teams to guide design decisions. You will also prepare technical reports and support validation tests.

Requirements

• BS or higher in engineering or applied physics with structures focus
• Deep understanding of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and materials properties
• Experience with CAD tools (NX, Solidworks, etc.)
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance

• Quantify and document load cases and environments
• Perform stress analysis using first-order and advanced analytical methods
• Develop computational models for dynamics, stress, deformation, fracture, and fatigue
• Lead trade studies and mass optimization efforts
