Description

You will design the secure digital backbone of a state-of-the-art enrichment facility, developing ICT systems compliant with government regulations. Collaborate with architects and engineers to create detailed telecommunications and network infrastructure designs, manage secure network distribution, and perform troubleshooting during commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years industry experience in ICT/Telecommunications design or Low Voltage systems.
• RCDD certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5+ years in secure facility design, SCIF construction, or government classified data environments.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed ICT and low-voltage systems including classified/unclassified network distribution (SIPR/NIPR/JWICS or equivalent) and secure server rooms.
• Prepare Permit-level design packages in Revit integrating cabling, backbone pathways, and rack elevations.
• Design specialized shielding, secure containment (PDS), and grounding systems for restricted government data networks.
• Coordinate pathway requirements (conduits, cable trays, underground duct banks) with structural and mechanical disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with BICSI, TIA/EIA, and government security overlays (ICD 705, NISPOM, UFC).
