💼 About This Role

You'll build sample apps, integrations, and demos for Ghost, an ephemeral, forkable, MCP-native Postgres for agents. Your core impact is making Ghost the go-to database for AI agents by shipping code and explaining it to developers. You'll work at the intersection of engineering and developer relations, with a strong bias to ship over polish.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build reference implementations that demonstrate Ghost's unique capabilities.
• Maintain integrations with agent tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Vercel AI SDK.
• Create technical content: blog posts, tutorials, videos tied to your builds.
• Engage in GitHub issues and Discord to unblock developers building on Ghost.

📋 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience shipping public software (open source, side projects, or developer-facing work).
• Comfort with PostgreSQL (indexes, transactions, debugging slow queries).
• Hands-on experience with the modern agent stack (Claude Code, Cursor, MCP).
• Strong technical writing across formats: blog posts, tutorials, READMEs.

• Track record of maintaining open source projects with real users.
• Existing audience in the AI developer community (GitHub, X, YouTube, Discord).
• Previous experience as a software engineer, Developer Advocate, or solutions engineer at an infrastructure company.
