💼 About This Role

You'll develop and execute sourcing strategies for composite materials and components in a maritime defense environment. Your work ensures supply continuity and scalability across production and new product development. You'll partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to build a resilient supply base.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for composites including raw materials and fabricated structures.
• Lead sourcing initiatives including supplier identification, RFQs, technical evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Manage supplier capacity plans to support production ramp and long-term demand.
• Conduct NPI scalability assessments covering production capability, quality, lead time, and compliance.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and processes (carbon fiber, resin systems, autoclave).
• Proven experience managing complex supplier relationships and technical sourcing decisions.

✨ Nice to Have

• Exposure to composites, aerospace, marine, or advanced manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ITAR / defense compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and sourcing tools.
