💼 About This Role

You'll own technoeconomic modeling to evaluate major strategic pathways and inform capital allocation decisions. You'll partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Carbon Accounting to drive impact across Charm's roadmaps. This role offers a chance to shape the future of carbon removal at a mission-driven company.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Develop and improve technoeconomic and life cycle models for company strategy.
  • Translate technical roadmaps into financial models with cost projections.
  • Partner with Engineering to evaluate high-leverage process modifications.
  • Present technoeconomic insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 6-10 years of experience in technical/engineering and economic/financial work.
  • Demonstrated experience building technoeconomic or financial models from scratch.
  • Ability to translate complex economic analyses into strategic recommendations.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience in a high-growth startup or early-stage climate tech company.
  • Background in management consulting or technical advisory for capital-intensive systems.
  • Familiarity with carbon markets, MRV frameworks, or LCA methodologies.
