💼 About This Role

You'll own and operate SimpliSafe's security tooling stack and lead detection and response efforts. You'll serve as a primary escalation point for security incidents, driving analysis and remediation. This hybrid role offers the chance to shape security operations at a high-growth home security company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Administer and maintain security platforms (anti-malware, SIEM, network monitoring).
• Monitor and triage security alerts, performing root cause analysis.
• Serve as primary escalation point for security incidents and investigations.
• Partner with Security and IT to improve threat detection and response capabilities.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years experience in cybersecurity or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with security incident investigation and response.
• Ability to analyze security logs and data sets to identify threats.
• Experience administering SIEM, EDR, or vulnerability management platforms.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon or similar EDR platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sumo Logic).
• Familiarity with AWS security services and cloud security concepts.
