💼 About This Role

You'll lead security engineering at Assembled, building infrastructure that maintains the confidentiality of our data across AI and workforce management products. You'll write and review code daily, tackling 0-to-1 problems in application, infrastructure, and data security. This role engages closely with the Infrastructure team to ensure a secure platform for customers like Canva and Etsy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement secure, scalable code across application, platform, and infrastructure levels
• Perform security assessments, code audits, and design reviews
• Own the vulnerability management lifecycle end-to-end
• Create policies, processes, and tooling to enhance security posture

📋 Requirements

• Deep expertise in a backend language like Golang or Python
• 5+ years of security engineering experience with 2+ years leading complex projects
• Solid foundational knowledge of security engineering principles
• Hands-on expertise securing cloud infrastructure
