Description
You will provide electrical and mechanical maintenance support to plant and facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your work will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to keep production running smoothly.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Production Mechanic (food production preferred).
- Ability to work safely with electricity, including single and 3 phase circuits up to 480V.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret quality documents, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, formers, wrappers, x-ray units, metal detectors, mixers, and industrial ovens.
- Follow work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including use of PPE.
- Read and use blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, and testing equipment.
- Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, and test high speed production equipment.
- Maintain equipment per diagrams and manufacturer specs, track work orders in CMMS.
