💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the primary liaison for clients with CalSTRS and CalPERS, ensuring compliance and accuracy in retirement and benefits administration. You'll collaborate with the Payroll team to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. This remote-first role offers the opportunity to work with mission-driven organizations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Act as primary liaison for clients with County Offices of Education, CalSTRS, and CalPERS.
• Audit, process, reconcile, and correct STRS, PERS, and benefit contributions.
• Manage open enrollment processes, including rate updates and employee enrollments.
• Generate reports and maintain records related to benefits and retirement enrollments.

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum two years of experience in retirement plan administration, benefits, or payroll.
• Strong understanding of CalSTRS, CalPERS, and 403(b) retirement plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced level).

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, HR, or related field.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Paycor, ADP, UKG, Paylocity, Frontline, or Paychex.
• Knowledge of non-profit and charter school payroll compliance.
