💼 About This Role

You'll join Ursa Major to develop avionics hardware for rocket engines and propulsion systems, interfacing sensors and actuators with control software. You'll own mixed-signal designs from requirements through qualification and production. This role offers the chance to work on national security space applications with a hands-on team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design mixed-signal avionics hardware for space applications.
• Support trade studies, component selection, and architecture decisions.
• Perform de-rating, worst-case circuit, and FMECA analyses.
• Integrate sensors and actuators with control software and test systems.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in electronics hardware development with flight avionics delivery.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Analog/digital filtering and mixed-signal circuit design expertise.
• Sensor and actuator technologies (RTD, pressure transducers, BLDC motors, etc.).

✨ Nice to Have

• Launch vehicle avionics systems integration experience.
• Graduate degree with 15+ years in electronics hardware development.
• Altium proficiency and Class 3 board assembly standards knowledge.
