Description

You will build the autonomy brain for a cutting-edge autonomous aerial platform, integrating state-of-the-art reinforcement learning agents into the operational systems of your own Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle. This role involves working at the intersection of machine learning and systems engineering to enable real-time autonomous decision-making in flight.

Requirements

• Experience with Rust and Python
• Deep technical understanding of machine learning and systems engineering
• Skill in distributed systems communications
• Ability to work under significant constraints in changing environments
• Diligence in implementing research papers and applying proven techniques

Responsibilities

• Integrate reinforcement learning agents into high-performance runtime systems
• Develop autonomous decision-making pipelines from sensor data to tactical execution
• Bridge Python-based RL agents with Rust runtime systems for low-latency inference
• Handle intermittent connectivity and bespoke hardware protocols
• Maintain software stack, improve reliability, and manage technical debt
