Description
You will handle artwork, furniture, and other objects, moving them throughout the building, preparing exhibition spaces, and assisting clients during exhibitions. This role requires physical strength and attention to detail to ensure safe property handling.
Requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Overtime and weekend work required
- Prior fine art handling experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Move property throughout the building with Specialist Departments, Registrars, and Operations staff
- Receive, open, tag, and scan property as directed
- Prepare exhibition space including movable walls, pedestals, and display material
- Place property for display, including hanging or mounting on walls and assembling property
- Stand exhibition and assist clients in viewing property
