Description
You will design, develop, and implement production processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency while reducing waste at a rapidly growing better-for-you snack manufacturer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct process audits, and analyze production data to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering
- Experience in food industry preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficient computer skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistency and safety
- Support daily performance improvement (speed, scrap, labor efficiency)
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues
- Conduct process audits and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Monitor production data, perform bottleneck analyses, and lead Kaizen events
