You'll build and operate optical and laser systems for inertial fusion energy in new labs. Your work will directly impact clean energy commercialization. You'll collaborate with physics, controls, and engineering teams to deliver integrated capabilities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assemble, build, and test precision mechanical, electrical, optical, and laser systems
• Integrate laser beam steering with target injection and tracking
• Support design and operation of optical metrology and tracking test beds
• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently

📋 Requirements

• MS or PhD in engineering, physics, optics, photonics, or lasers
• Experience in precision laboratory environments

• Experience with optical systems in R&D environment
• Precision alignment, characterization, and fast imaging
• Integrating lasers and sensors into fast response systems
