Description

You will build Markforged's 3D printer and content management system and web-based slicer (Eiger) as a full-stack developer, designing REST APIs, using AWS services, optimizing Postgres queries, and implementing 3D views in WebGL. You'll bridge engineering and design, leveraging UX principles and Figma to create exceptional user experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience building and shipping high quality code, with a Bachelor's in CS or equivalent
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript using a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end Node.js/Express
• Demonstrated experience with UX design principles and ability to create prototypes using Figma
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL) and data modeling/query optimization

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain a scalable multi-tenant web application for 3D design management and printing
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions, perform code reviews, and drive best practices in coding standards and performance optimization
• Apply UX principles to translate user needs into intuitive UIs and create prototypes using Figma
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
