Description

You will weld and fabricate fluid systems and sub-assembly components for Rutherford and Archimedes rocket engines at Rocket Lab. Your work directly supports the development of reusable launch vehicles for space missions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of welding experience with advanced techniques
• Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Shipbuilding, or Construction
• Proficient in GTAW (TIG), Orbital Tube Welding, Laser Welding, Lathe Welding
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Experience welding on materials .011 - .250 thickness

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding systems per procedures
• Weld assemblies from work orders, blueprints, and verbal instructions
• Meet product specifications within tight tolerances
